Bringing back Snow Land in Wave 2 as a part of the newest Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC was a good decision, and it is the perfect course that you will love to jump right in during this winter. Get ready for the snowy season!

This is a fun way to play and enjoy yourself with friends and family on a new slippery track with adorable spinning penguins from your childhood. An unforgettable moment from the Star Cup in Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It’s the first beloved course in the series, and beware not to hit any penguins while you’re speeding up if you want to win the race. Hit them, and you crash. The point is to avoid them and run through them.

GBA Snow Land is now available as the second course of the Propeller Cup in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Fun Challenge Ideas

Need an ice-breaking activity or new things to do with your friends and family? No worries, we’ve got you covered. Without further ado, let’s dive right in.

  1. Create racing course themes — we recommend you come up with 2-3 themes. Here are some of our ideas that you can add to the list: 1.) Late Autumn theme, 2.) Welcoming the new season, 3.) Four-season theme.
  2. Host a mini-tournament with your friends and family — keep the fun going with a short or long tournament throughout the winter with different themes and the difficulty of each course.
  3. Set up your own time limit for the race — not just come at the top of the leaderboard, but let’s make it a bit more challenging. You could set the time for each round and challenge people to beat it. The harder the courses are, the more fun and laughter you’ll get. Give it a try!
  4. Make it harder with 150cc — Drive 150cc in one of the most slippery and snowy places like GBA Snow Land. Spice things up with a “no penguins hit” challenge and see how much fun it is to see everyone try so hard not to hit any. You can even use all the shortcuts to avoid them altogether.
